Rite Of Dedication Begins September 14, 2000 Bishop Edward O'Donnell is welcomed by the congregation at the baptismal font. The Rite of Dedication begins with the blessing of the water of the Baptismal Font reminding the community that the Church is the Body of Christ. "May God, the Father of mercies, dwell in this house of prayer. May the grace of the Holy Spirit cleanse us and all who enter this house of prayer, for we are the temple of his presence."
