BAPTISMAL FONT - The baptismal font is the first fixture one views as he or she opens the doors into the baptistery. Parishioners sign themselves with water from the bronze bowl upon entering. Water from this same bowl is used for the baptism of infants. Water flows from this bronze bowl into an eight-foot-wide pool, which is used for adult baptisms.
