March Food Drive

March Food Drive

In observance of the Feast of St. Joseph, Patron Saint of the family and of the entire Church, our parish will conduct a food drive the weekend of March 13-14, 2021, to help the needy of our area through the Second Harvest Food Bank during the COVID-19 crisis. This organization, whose mission is to end hunger, distributes daily shipments to food pantries in Acadiana, including St. Joseph Diner. In the spring and summer, this organization experiences a shortage of food to hand out to those in need, because most of the drives are held in the fall.

This drive is being organized to offer the support of the St. Elizabeth Seton Parish community. Special grocery bags will be distributed the weekend of March 6-7 for parishioners to fill. Please return the bags to St. Elizabeth Seton Church and place them in the gathering area no later than March 14. For more information, contact Karen Sonnier at 237-5451 or Gayle Landry at 232-3796.
