In observance of the Feast of St. Joseph, Patron Saint of the family and the entire Church, our parish will conduct a Food Drive the weekend of March 18-29, to help the needy of our area, through Second Harvest Food Bank. This organization, whose mission is to end hunger, distributes daily shipments to food pantries in Acadiana, including St. Joseph Diner. In the spring and summer, this organization experiences a shortage of food, since most drives are held in the fall.
This drive is being organized to offer the support of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish community. Special grocery bags will be distributed the weekend of March 11-12 for parishioners to fill and return no later than March 19.
