Food Drive 2024 Thank You

Food Drive 2024 Thank You

Thanks to all of you for a successful food drive! Your generosity supports outreach in our area which eases the burdens of local men, women, and children experiencing hunger and homelessness. Your gracious response helped us deliver truckloads of food to Second Harvest Food Bank. This organization, whose mission is to end hunger, distributes daily shipments to food pantries in Acadiana, including St. Joseph Diner.

Special thanks to:

Breaux’s Mart for their donation of the paper bags.

TMIY (That Man is You) volunteers who annually handle pick-up and delivery of our food drive collection. Our patron, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton said, “Our least action, when done for God, is precious to Him.” We are thankful for your effort to pick up and deliver the annual food drive collection. You have shared your time, talent and resources on things that are deeply important to our beloved Seton Parish, and you’ve done it all with immeasurable patience and a cheerful spirit. We extend immense gratitude for your partnership on this significant endeavor for the benefit of our neighbors in need. A special note of thanks to Jon Citron and Billy Daigle who provided transportation and coordination of this year’s 3,300 lb. collection! May God pour His abundant blessings and grace upon each of you.
